The TV Maeilshinmun produced YouTube video in English to inform that Daegu has been reborn as a model city of K-quarantine.

TV매일신문이 전 세계와 국내 타 지자체에 K-방역의 모범도시로 거듭난 대구를 알리기 위해 영문판 유튜브 영상를 제작했다.

The Reporter 'Beast' speaks in English, and Korean subtitle is offered for Korean subscribers. This is the first attempt to produce an English version of the TV Maeilshinmun. We hope not only Koreans but many other foreign subscribers would watch it.

순수 영어판으로 만들었으며, 국내 시청자들을 위해서는 한글자막을 깔았다. TV매일신문의 영문판 제작의 첫 시도로 해외에서 많은 시청자들이 보기를 기대하고 있다.

Although 'Beast' (The TV Maeilshinmun Anchor Kwon Sung-hoon) is not that good at speacking english, He was in charge of studio anchor and field reporter with his poor pronunciation.

TV매일신문 야수(권성훈 앵커)는 완벽하지만 않지만 어설픈 영어 실력으로 스튜디오 앵커와 현장 리포트 1인2역을 담당했다.

First, in the studio, after evaluating the efforts of Daegu City and citizens who turned the crisis into an opportunity, 'Beast' met Christopher Murphy, Daegu International School principal and two teachers(Deanna Suozzo, Brittney Loutsch).

먼저 스튜디오에서 위기를 기회로 바꾼 대구시와 시민들의 노력을 평가한 후 첫 현장으로 대구국제학교 교장(크리스토퍼 머피)과 교사 2명(디애나 수오쪼, 브리트니 라우처)을 만났다.

During the interview, the beast recalled the situation when Corona 19 became widespread throughout Daegu, and overlooked the current state of calm after the great crisis.

야수 리포터는 인터뷰를 통해 코로나19가 대구 전체에 만연했을 때의 상황을 회고하고, 큰 위기를 넘기고 잠잠해진 현재의 모습을 반추해본다.

The second interview was done in Keimyung University International Exchange student Center. The Beast met two students(Hungarian and Bulgarian) from Eastern Europe. Schweizer Judid(28), PhD student in the Department of Journalism and Broadcasting) and Yusovsky Kalin(25) student in Keimyung University Language School

I asked them to learn how their mother countries cope with the Covid-19 and differences from the way of Korean government.

두번째 인터뷰 장소는 계명대 국제교류센터. 야수는 동유럽에서 온 헝가리와 불가리아 학생 2명(신문방송학과 박사과정 슈와이저 주딧(28), 계명대 어학당 유쇼브스키 칼린(25))을 만나, 자신의 나라와 대한민국의 코로나19에 대처하는 방식을 비교하기도 했다.

Kalin said. "Europeans are reluctant to wear masks in their daily lives. Many people recognized mask as the symbol of the sick for a while, but Koreans didn't. maybe they are mor familliar with wearing it because of the yellow dust."

칼린 씨는 "유럽인들은 일상에서 마스크를 쓰는 것을 꺼려한다. 웬지 병자 취급을 하는 분위기가 있지만 한국인들은 미세먼지 때문인지 모르지만 마스크 착용이 생활화되어 있다"고 말했다.

Min pok-kee, vice-president of Daegu City Medical Association(President of All- For-skin Clinic) who appeared to inform the case of exemplary K-quarantine of Daegu City chose 3 important points

대구시의 모범적인 K-방역 사례를 알리기 위해 출연한 민복기 대구시의사회 부회장(올포스킨 원장)은 ▷대구시민들의 자발적인 사회적 거리두기와 마스크 쓰기 ▷메디시티 대구협의회를 중심으로 많은 의료진들의 헌신 ▷초기 적극적 방역과 DT(Drive Through) 등 새로운 방식의 검사법을 코로나19로부터 빨리 벗어날 수 있게 한 3가지 중요 포인트로 꼽았다.

In addition, he said "I am grateful to the citizens of Daegu-Gyeongbuk Province and emphasized that the citizens, they are the most powerful Corona 19 vaccine. without them we couldn't cope with this crisis fastly and effectively"

더불어 그는 "대구경북시도민들에게 감사하다"며 "시도민들이 가장 강력한 코로나19 백신"이라고 강조했다.
